UPDATE: Man injured after "possible altercation" in Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids police have released the name of a man that showed up at a hospital with a head injury after what they are calling a "possible altercation". 

Police say 44-year-old Frank Pledge showed up at St. Luke's Hospital with a head injury at around 11:00 p.m. Monday.

Pledge has since been moved to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  His condition is unknown.

Police launched an investigation in the 1400 block of Bever Avenue SE where they found blood.  They are still trying to determine how he was injured.
