Part of Highway 63 covered in water

Posted:
WATERLOO (KWWL) -

There's a "bridge over troubled water" in Waterloo.

Part of Logan Avenue in both the north and southbound lanes was covered with water Monday, after an electrical problem at the nearby lift station caused pumps to stop working.  That caused groundwater under the highway and railroad bridge to flood the street.

Crews have worked all day to pump the water off of the road, while repairing the main pumps.
