Delaware County to be latest with burn ban

Delaware County will become the latest Eastern Iowa county to issue a burn ban when there's goes into effect on Tuesday morning.

Mike Ryan from the Delaware County Emergency Management office says that due to the dry conditions, a burn ban will go into effect starting at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10.

Delaware joins Dubuque, Linn, Fayette, Butler and Clayton counties, who have already issued burn bans.

The burn bans will remain in effect until the dry conditions change.
