UPDATE: One injured in Waterloo stabbing

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

One man was sent to the hospital after a stabbing at a Waterloo home Sunday.

It happened in the 800 block of Dawson Street just before 7:00 p.m. Officials SAY 21-year-old Rafael Garcia-Vargas was stabbed in his ear and torso. He is recovering at an area hospital.

Police have charged 17-year-old Jose Luis Jaramillo in the stabbing. He faces charges of willful injury and going armed with intent. He is being held in the Black Hawk County jail.
