Waterloo Schools announce new staff assignments

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Waterloo Board of Education will consider five staff appointments for the 2012-13 school year.

Four assistant principals and one AP/athletic director will be recommended to board members.

Cary Weiland, now assistant principal at Expo, will have a similar position at Carver Academy.

Charlotte Coleman will leave the assistant principal role at Carver for the same position at Expo.

Todd Coulter, currently AP/athletic director at East High School, will take on a similar role at Central Middle School.

Al Pace, an assistant principal at East High School for two years, will continue in that role and add AD to his title.

Jared Smith will be an assistant principal at East High. He comes from Fort Dodge.
