WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A former Waterloo West High teacher has been arrested again, this time for allegedly violating a no-contact order.

According to court records, 61-year-old Michael Lyons pleaded guilty in May to three counts of sexual exploitation by a school employee.  He was given a suspended sentence of five years in prison, but was required to serve 30 days in jail.  Staff at the Black Hawk County Jail says he served that time and was released within the last week.

Captain Tim Pillack says that Lyons was arrested again on Thursday night, accused of violating the no-contact order by talking with the 18-year-old victim on the phone.

He is currently being held at the Black Hawk County Jail without bond.
