Two people were sent to the hospital on Friday morning after a head-on crash on Martin Luther King Drive in Waterloo.

According to Waterloo police, 57-year-old Dianne Moses was headed west when she crossed the center line into the path of an eastbound vehicle, driven by 31-year-old Radovan Josipovic, at around 5:25 a.m. Friday.

Both drivers were taken to Allen Hospital.  Captain Tim Pillack says Moses was injured more seriously and had to undergo surgery.

Martin Luther King Drive was shutdown between Northeast Drive and North Elk Run Road for more than two hours.
