A Solon teen faces charges after allegedly breaking into Solon Middle School, Solon High School, a concession stand and a convenience store.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says that Tyler Scott Yakish, 19, admitted to breaking into the Solon Recreation Area concession stand on April 14 and stole several items, including a nacho cheese dispenser.  Deputies say the nacho cheese dispenser was found at a co-defendant's home.

Deputies say that Yakish and two co-defendants broke into Solon Middle School on June 4 and stole four LCD projectors and a large safe.

Yakish and a co-defendant then allegedly broke into the concession stand at the Solon Recreation Area again on June 18 and stole pop.

Deputies say that Yakish and a co-defendant then broke into Rj'z Store on June 22 and stole beer and cigarettes.  They say the pair also broke into the store again on June 29, but left after hearing an alarm sound.

According to deputies, the final burglary happened on June 29 when Yakish and a co-defendant broke into Solon High School to try and take money from an ATM machine.  Deputies say they stole water and Gatorade from a vending machine and broke a door, the ATM and the vending machine, causing more than $1,000 in damage.

Yakish is charged with six counts of third degree burglary and one count of second degree criminal mischief.

The co-defendants have not been named.  Johnson County sheriff Lonny Pulkrabek says that it is an ongoing investigation and he can't comment any further.
