Man injured in collision near Riceville

RICEVILLE (KWWL) -

One man is in the hospital after a crash on County Road T68 near Riceville. 

It happened Tuesday at 1:40 p.m.  According to the Iowa State Patrol, Kevin Christensen was mowing the shoulder of the road while on a tractor when a vehicle driven by Jay Hardecopf crashed into the rear of Christensen's tractor causing it to roll. 

Christensen was trapped underneath the tractor for a short time.  

Christensen was taken to a local hospital.  There is no word on his condition.
