Obama carried Iowa in 2008, but it's among a handful of states he and presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney see as pivotal to winning the election this year.
Romney has made three trips to Iowa since the caucuses. While in Dubuque, he did a one-on-one interview with KWWL.
Obama visited Conveyor Engineering & Manufacturing in Cedar Rapids immediately following his State of the Union address in January. He returned in April with a stop in Iowa City at the University of Iowa. In May, he was in Des Moines and Newton.
