Waverly woman charged with sexual abuse

WAVERLY (KWWL) -

One woman is facing a sexual abuse charge after police say a teen had a sexual relationship with the woman.

Waverly police arrested 32-year-old Angela Brown of Waverly Friday, June 29 for third degree sexual abuse after a 15-year-old boy admitted to having a sexual relationship with her.

Officers seized evidence from the location of the offense, which contained Brown's DNA.

Brown was taken into custody and was released after posting a $10,000 cash bond. She is also prohibited from contacting the victim.

If convicted Brown could face 10 years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
