McGregor man shot in Prairie du Chien; suspects sought

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (KWWL) -

The search for suspects is underway in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin after a man was shot in the leg this weekend.

It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Blackhawk Ave.

Police say 22-year-old Joshua Moeck of McGregor had to be taken to a La Crosse hospital for treatment.

They say the suspects drove from the scene and are not believed to be from the area.

They say there's no threat to the public.
