UPDATE: Name of bicyclist hit on Hwy. 151 released

The Iowa State Patrol has released the name of a bicyclist hit will riding on Highway 151 in Jones County on Thursday night.

Troopers say that 49-year-old Wayne Stephen Felton, of Cascade, was headed north on Highway 151, about three miles north of Monticello, when was hit by a car at around 11:15 p.m.  Troopers say that the car took off from the scene.

Felton was flown from the scene to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

They have not released any details on the car.
