Cedar Rapids police look for suspects after armed robbery

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids police are searching for suspects after an armed robbery at the Casey's General store.

Police say it happened in the 100 block of 41st Avenue Drive Southwest Wednesday night at about 10:20.

Two suspects entered the building displaying a gun, and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt.

Police say they are continuing their investigation.

Some residents of southeast Waverly are a little nervous, as the waters of the Cedar River move toward a crest in the next 24 hours.
The City of Waverly says the river is receding and previousily closed roads are starting to open.
