Hudson Baseball: Pirates crush Don Bosco in five innings

HUDSON (KWWL) -

With their top pitcher producing a dominating performance through three innings, the Hudson Pirates built an 8-0 lead over Don Bosco and finished the Dons in five 14-3.

Hudson senior pitcher Cale Henke struck out 7 of the first 9 batters he faced while hitting a two run homer in the first inning.  The homerun was Henke's 9th of the season and 60th of his career which ranks him third all-time in the state of Iowa.
