Even mild exercise can help reduce the risk for developing breast cancer.

Women who exercised 10 to 19 hours a week during their reproductive or post-menopausal years showed the biggest risk reduction. However, the exercise benefit disappeared if a woman put on a significant amount of weight around the time of menopause.
