Principal Charity Classic to move to new venue

The Principal Financial Group signed on as the title sponsor for 3 more years, however the Senior PGA tournament will be moving to a new golf course next year.

Tournament officials were recently told by the Glen Oaks Country Club board that they were not interested in hosting the next event.  Although they did not rule out hosting in the future.  Glen Oaks has been the tournament site for 11 of the 12 years in the event's history.

The Classic will remain in the Des Moines area, and officials say they're looking at several different venues as the possible host site.
