Derrell Johnson-Koulianos struggles to join the pro football ranks continued this week.  The former Hawkeye was released by the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL on Saturday.  The move came just 11 days after DJK signed with the team during the preseason.

It's just another in a string of disappointments for the former Hawkeye star.  After being dismissed by Iowa in 2010 due to his legal issues, Johnson-Koulianos went undrafted despite holding 2 Iowa receiving records.  More recently he was cut by the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League prior to playing a game.
