UPDATE: Police identify woman found laying along Highway 6

Coralville Police have identified a woman found lying unconscious along Highway 6 on Wednesday night, but they have not released her name.

Chief Barry Bedford says the 30-year-old woman was not seriously injured and was released from the hospital over the weekend.

The woman was found by a Coralville officer lying on the south side of Highway 6 at around 11:07 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, just east of Deer Creek Road.

She did not have a pulse when she was found, but was revived by CPR.  She was then taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Police are working with the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation and are pursuing all leads.
