UNI's Knodle finishes 3rd at U.S. Junior Championships

UNI freshman Paige Knodle took home a third place finish in the heptathlon at the U.S. Track and Field Junior Championships.

Knodle moved up 2 spots on the final day after finishing day one in 5th place.  She tallied 5,230 points in the event after a personal best 18' 3.25" effort in the long jump.  Her performances in the javelin and 800 meters were both the second best of her career.

Earlier in the spring Knodle finished as the runner-up in the event at the Missouri Valley Championships.
