Bucks fall 7-5 to Alexandria, streak ends at 4

The Waterloo Bucks dug themselves a hole they couldn't get out of on Friday as they fell 7-5 to Alexandria.  The loss snapped a 4 game winning streak.

Waterloo spotted the Beetles a 7-0 lead through 7 innings, but a late rally made things interesting.  Peter Leonello's bases loaded single in the 7th scored Freddy Villalobos for Waterloo's first run of the game.  Benny Roberts followed that up with a grand slam shot over the right field wall to pull the Bucks within 2.

Alexandria's Anthony Bazzani would shut down the Waterloo hitters in the 9th to pick up the save.
