ISU basketball adds Wisconsin prep

Iowa State's Fred Hoiberg added a sharp shooter on Thursday with the commitment of Wisconsin prep Matt Thomas.

As a junior, Thomas led his Onalaska High School team to the division 5 state championship.  The 6'4" guard scored 30 points in the championship game, and shot better than 46% from the 3-point line for the entire season.

Thomas had recently narrowed his choices to Iowa State and Virginia.
