The Coralville Police are looking for answers after a woman was found unconscious lying along a highway.

Just after eleven Wednesday night, police say a woman believed to be around 30-years-old was discovered not breathing and with no pulse along the south side of Highway 6.

She was revived with CPR and taken by ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Her name has not been released.

According to the police report, the woman says someone assaulted her and dumped her on the side of the road.

Police say a man may have been walking on Highway 6 near Lowes around the same time.

Iowa City Area crime stoppers want to interview this possible witness and are offering a $1,000 reward for a tip leading to an arrest.
