Down 1-0 in the sixth inning, the Kernels got on the board when Chevy Clarke, who doubled to lead-off the inning, scored on a Zach Borenstein single.

Rashun Dixon gave Burlington the lead for good in the seventh inning when he put the first pitch from Reynolds over the left field wall.

Reynolds took the loss, giving up two runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

Joe Melioris and Aaron Meade each worked one inning.  They gave up no runs on no hits and each had a strikeout.  Meade gave up one walk.
