Branstad awards several Iowa employers with a special honor

DES MOINES (KWWL) -

Three central Iowa employers were given a special honor Tuesday for looking out for Iowa soldiers.

Fareway Foods, Wright Tree Service, and Ruan Transportation all received the Governor's Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Award.

Governor Branstad says the three companies do everything they can to hire veterans and to support them and their families when they are deployed.
