Dubuque Police are searching for a car responsible for a hit and run

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

A Dubuque man was taken to the hospital after he was hit by car Monday.

It happened at the intersection of West Locust Street and Clark Drive.

Police say 23-year-old Eric Wilson was attempting to cross the street when he was hit by a black car.

Wilson was taken to Finley Hospital, but he is expected to survive.

Police are still looking for the car responsible.
