LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -

Linn County sheriff's deputies say they have found the third car involved in a three-car accident on Monday.

Sergeant Joel Peshek says deputies were called to Highway 13, just north of Highway 30, at around 7:26 a.m. Monday.

Peshek says a car driven by 65-year-old Wallace Taylor, of Marion, slowed down for traffic and was rear-ended by a car driven by 28-year-old Jeffrey Luensman of Monticello.

Luensman's car was then rear-ended by a car driven by 43-year-old Tricia Bender of Marion.

Bender and Luensman were both taken to St. Luke's Hospital for minor injuries.  Taylor was not injured.

Wallace had left the scene of the accident, but deputies confirmed on Tuesday that he was involved.

No tickets have been issued and the accident remains under investigation.
