CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A trial date has been set for a man accused of stealing money from his Cedar Rapids car dealership.

Authorities say 42-year-old Edward Polaco didn't forward on tax, title and license fees from 32 customers who bought vehicles from Family Auto Center.

They also say he took in two trade-ins and sold them without paying off the loans.

His trial is set for September 4th.

Family Auto Center closed in April.
