MAQUOKETA (KWWL) -

According to KWWL's coverage partner the Telegraph Herald, the man found dead in a wooded area Sunday evening in Maquoketa apparently killed himself, Maquoketa police chief Brad Koranda said.

Police were called out a wooded area in the 800 block of East Maple Street Sunday. That's where they found the body of 35-year-old Dennis Deniong Jack, of Maquoketa.

According to the Telegraph Herald, there will be an autopsy, but Koranda said officials are considering it a suicide.
