Bucks win 5th straight

Posted:
WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The Waterloo Bucks needed a rally as they picked up their 5th straight win to start the season, beating Willmar 8-6.  The 5-0 start is the best in franchise history.

The Bucks fell behind early giving up a pair of run scoring doubles in a 4 run 2nd inning for Willmar.

Sean Borman keyed Waterloo's rally with an RBI single in the third.  Borman would pick up another hit and RBI in a 4-run 5th inning that pushed the Bucks to their first lead of the game.

Zach Pettiford (2-0) earned the win after going five innings and giving up five runs.
