Wisconsin man dies in Dubuque Co. motorcycle accident

SHERRILL (KWWL) -

A Sunday evening motorcycle accident killed a Wisconsin man.

It happened at 7:10 p.m. at the intersection of Balltown Road and Finley's Landing Road in Sherrill. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved. Sherrill Ambulance took the 58-year-old driver to a Dubuque hospital where he died a short time later.

Dubuque County authorities are investigating the crash and the name of the victim will not be released until family is notified.

Some residents of southeast Waverly are a little nervous, as the waters of the Cedar River move toward a crest in the next 24 hours.
The City of Waverly says the river is receding and previousily closed roads are starting to open.
