UPDATE: Two injured in Waterloo shooting


Two people are injured, and one man arrested Friday morning after a shooting on the east side of Waterloo.  

Police were called around 11:30 p.m. Thursday to Allen Hospital in Waterloo for the report of two people who were shot. After further investigation, police determined the shooting happened at 1228 Columbia Street. 

Kyle O'Donnell, 24, of Heyward, California and Clifton Sallis, 36, of Waterloo, were shot. O'Donnell had gunshot wounds to his forearm and bicep. Sallis was shot in the chest. Sallis went into surgery Friday morning and is still being treated, O'Donnell was released.

After an investigation, police arrested 18-year-old Tereall Deshawn Green of Waterloo. Green has been charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, willful injury and felon in possession of a firearm.  He is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on $500,000 bond.
