Martin leaves UNI Football team for North Dakota State

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Northern Iowa defensive back Andre Martin is leaving the panthers and transferring to rival and defending national champion North Dakota State. Martin still has one year of eligibility remaining.

Martin, who started at safety in his freshman season, has already finished his undergraduate degree at UNI and will pursue his masters at North Dakota State.

Since he is finished with his undergraduate work, Martin can play immediately for the Bison.
