Confident Black Hawks set for game 5

The Waterloo Black Hawks are headed to Green Bay with one goal: to return as the Clark Cup Champions.

The Black Hawks came into the best of 5 finals as heavy underdogs, but have now taken the regular season USHL champs to the limit.  The underdog role has served this team well so far as Waterloo had already knocked off 2 higher seeds on their way to the finals.

They reached Wednesday's decisive game 5 with an impressive 5-3 win Saturday night.  Third year forward Jamie Hill shined tallying the team's first playoff hat trick  in 8 years.

USHL Rookie of the Year Taylor Cammarata, who also scored in the Black Hawks' win, believes this team has nothing to lose.

"I think we've got the momentum going to game 5," said Cammarata, "Their backs are against the wall at home.  They're the best team in the league, so we're going to get a big win there."

Although the Gamblers came in as the heavy favorite, Waterloo head Coach P.K. O'Handley believes that doesn't matter anymore.

"I mean why not?  Can you imaging the Anderson Cup champs are tied 2-2 going to game 5 against the 3rd seed in the West?" O'Handley questioned, "I mean, hey, we've got a chance to win the Clark Cup and the pressure's on them for sure."

Game 5 is set for 7:05 Wednesday night at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
