Fayette County Sheriff's deputies escorted a black bear out of West Union on Friday.

The Fayette County Sheriff says a black bear was spotted about a half mile north of West Union on Highway 150 Friday morning.

After looking for the bear, deputies found it just north of North Fayette High School. Sheriff Marty Fisher used an ATV to push the bear north.Deputies followed the bear about 2 miles and it headed into a wooded area northwest of town.
