Eastern Iowa Veterans head to Washington

Over 90 Eastern Iowa World War II Veterans and their guardians headed to Washington D.C. Tuesday morning. All left from the Waterloo Regional Airport around 7:00 a.m.

Their day will be packed visiting the memorials built in their honor. The flight will be back around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night.

The next Honor Flight from Waterloo will be in September.
