Black Hawks headed for the Clark Cup finals, take out Lincoln 6-2

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Monday night the 3rd seeded Black Hawks once again looked like the top seed defeating Lincoln 6-2 to advance to the Clark Cup Finals.  Waterloo took the best of 5 series from the #1 seeded Stars 3-1.

The Black Hawks again stormed out of the gate with Alex Barron lighting the lamp midway through the first period.  Jamie Hill tallied the second goal in traffic, pushing the puck through the crease as Waterloo led 2-0 at the first intermission.

Hill tallied another goal on an unusual play early in the second.  Positioned behind the net, the 3rd year forward lifted the puck over the net, which ricocheted off the left shoulder of the goaltender and into the net.  Later, Ian McCoshen drilled a slap shot past the stick side as the Black Hawks were well in control, 4-0 after 2 periods.

The two teams traded goals in the 3rd as Taylor Cammarata and Josh Nenedal added tallies to put the game away.  The win was the 15th straight at home and moves Waterloo into the Clark Cup finals against Anderson Cup champion Green Bay.
