Rondo suspended after referee bump

The NBA has bumped back in response to Rajon Rondo's actions during Boston's 83-74 loss in Atlanta Sunday night.

The league has suspended the Celtics point guard for Game 2 of the series Tuesday night, which likely will put Avery Bradley in the starting lineup. Rondo was punished for bumping referee Marc Davis with his chest after being assessed a technical foul in the final minute of the game.

The loss of Rondo will further deplete a Celtics lineup that has been playing without guard Ray Allen, who's been bothered by a sore right ankle.
