Trades highlight NFL draft's first round

Things went as expected in the very early going of the first round of the NFL draft last night.  But after that, all bets were off as trades dominated the evening.

With the first pick, the Colts took Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, while with the second selection, the Redskins grabbed Baylor's Robert Griffin III.

In the first deal of the night, the Browns obtained the third pick from the Vikings and used it to take Alabama running back Trent Richardson. Not to be outdone, Jacksonville pulled off a deal for the fifth pick with Tampa Bay and selected Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon.

Rounds two and three of the draft take place Friday night.
