DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

A Dubuque man accused of sending threatening letters and dud bombs to investment firms around the country is scheduled to be in a Chicago court room Monday.

According to our coverage partners the Telegraph Herald, authorities arrested John Tomkins otherwise known as the "Bishop Bomber" in late April 2007.

Court records say Tomkins allegedly mailed at least 10 letters to employees of various investment companies threatening to kill them if they didn't raise certain stock prices.

Some of these letters were signed "The Bishop".
