Friends and Family remember soldier who died serving in Afghanistan

Friends and family gathered Friday afternoon for a "remembrance ride" to honor a fallen soldier.

Don Nichols died one year ago while serving in Afghanistan.

The ride started in Waverly at about 1 p.m., and ended at the Cedar Falls cemetery later in the afternoon.

Patriot guard riders were also in attendance.
