A Tipton woman is accused of stealing money from the Pizza Hut in Iowa City that she managed.

Police say that in March, Amanda Marie Flores, 24, was responsible for depositing $835.  They say she signed the deposit log stating she had the money, and signed saying that she had deposited the money.

Officers say the money was never deposited and Flores admitted to having the money for nearly two weeks without depositing it.  They say upper management gave her multiple chances to make the deposit and she failed to do so. They say she also began ignoring calls from Pizza Hut.

Flores is charged with third degree theft.
