Spicy Black Bean Dip

Serves 14 (Serving Size: 2 tablespoons dip)

All you need:

1 can (16 oz.) Hy-Vee black beans, rinsed, drained

½ cup Hy-Vee medium salsa , divided

1 clove garlic

½ teaspoon ground cumin

½ cup shredded carrot

Hy-Vee HealthMarket blue corn chips, Hy-Vee crackers or assorted cut-up vegetables

All you do:

1. Place beans, ¼ cup of the salsa, garlic and cumin in a blender or food processor container; cover. Blend until smooth.

2. Stir in remaining ¼ cup salsa and carrot. Spoon into serving bowl. Cover.

3. Refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors. Serve as a dip with chips, crackers or assorted vegetables.

Cucumber Dip

Serves 8

All you need:

1 cup cottage cheese, softened

1 cup light sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

1 medium English cucumber, peeled and chopped

¼ cup sliced green onions

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill weed

1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Fresh vegetables and pita bread wedges, if desired

All you do:

1. In medium bowl, combine cottage cheese and sour cream. Stir in cucumber, green onions, lemon juice, dill and pepper.

2. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Serve with vegetables and pita bread wedges, if desired.

Nutrition Information per serving: 91 calories, 1g carbohydrate, 1g protein, 7g fat, 3g saturated fat, 0g fiber, 14mg cholesterol, 111mg sodium.

Peanut Butter Parfait Dip

Serves 6 to 8.

All you need:

½ cup chunky peanut butter

1 cup plain yogurt

½ cup sour cream

2 tablespoons honey

1 cup crunchy granola

1 medium banana, sliced

1 cup strawberries, sliced

1 cup blueberries

Squeeze lemon juice

All you do:

1. Mix peanut butter, yogurt and sour cream with honey.

2. Divide mixture in half. In low glass bowl, spread half of peanut butter mixture, top with ½ cup cereal, then add a layer using half fruit, then repeat.

3. Top with squeeze of lemon.

4. Serve with Stacy's® Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips for dipping. Also try: Simply Naked, Multigrain Pita Chips.

Smoked Salmon Cucumber Dip

Serves 8 to 10.

All you need:

4 ounces Neufchatel cheese, softened

½ cup plain 0% Chobani Greek yogurt

2-3 tablespoons finely chopped red onion

3 tablespoons seeded and finely chopped cucumber

1 tablespoon capers

2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill

½ teaspoon grated lemon rind

8 ounces smoked salmon, flaked

Chives, finely chopped (optional)

Assorted dippers: crostini pieces, pita chips, bagel chips, etc.

All you do:

1. Combine Neufchatel cheese and yogurt. Beat until smooth.

2. Add onion, cucumber, capers, dill and lemon rind, stirring well to combine.

3. Fold in the salmon.

4. Place in serving bowl and garnish dip with chives, if desired.

5. Serve dip with assorted dippers.
