Lee Westwood leads after Master's first round

AUGUSTA, Ga. (KWWL) -

The Masters first round leader board certainly had an international flavor.

England's Lee Westwood holds a one-shot lead over South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen and Sweden's Peter Hanson after the first round of the 80th Masters. Westwood opened with a 4-under-68. There's a big group of golfers tied at 3-under including Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez and Ben Crane, Jason Dufner and Bubba Watson of the U.S.

Tiger Woods opened with an even par 72 in his bid to win a fifth green jacket. That's good for a tie for 29th with 15 others, including defending Masters champion Charl Schwartzel.

Three-time winner Phil Mickelson is at 2-over after birdieing the final hole.

Mark O'Meara, the 1998 Masters champion, withdrew with an injury just before he was set to tee off.
