UPDATE: Police investigate baby's death: No signs of injuries


Waterloo police are investigating the death of a three-month old baby.

Officers and rescue crews were called to 702 West Mullan Avenue, apartment #1, at around 8:38 a.m. Thursday for a report of a baby not breathing.

Captain Tim Pillack says crews found that the baby had died.

Police are investigating the cause of death.

Friday afternoon police said the autopsy showed no injuries to the child.  The exact cause of death will not be available until a toxicology report is completed.
