UPDATE: Vice President Joe Biden stops in Davenport

Vice President Joe Biden visited Iowa Wednesday for the second time in one month. Wednesday Mr. Biden spoke to more than 250 invited guests at PCT Engineered in northwest Davenport.

Mr. Biden targeted Mitt Romney's record at Bain Capital where a number of jobs were moved overseas.
Biden went on to highlight the rebound in manufacturing jobs under President Obama. He said the growth at PCT Engineering is an example of that growth.

"A job is more than a paycheck. It's about dignity, it's about respect, it's about your place in the community. And too many people have been stripped of their dignity as a result of this god awful recession we've inherited," said Biden.

PCT Engineered makes electron beam technology used to dry inks and coatings on food packaging. It employs about 70 people and is in the process of hiring more employees.

In early March, Biden visited Iowa State University.
