AMES (KWWL) -

A couple of cyclone linebackers are getting some early hype.

Iowa State's A.J. Klein and Jake Knott have been recognized individually among the top 10 linebackers to watch during the 2012 college football season by the Orlando Sentinel.

Iowa State is the only school with more than one linebacker on the list.

Klein is the 2011 Big 12 Conference co-defensive player of the year after racking up a team high 116 tackles, including 7 1/2 for loss and two sacks.

Knott was a 2011 first-team All- Big 12 selection with 115 tackles, 4 1/2 for loss, two interceptions and four forced fumbles.
