OXFORD (KWWL) -

An Oxford woman faces OWI and child endangerment charges after her 15-year old daughter called police to report it.

Johnson County deputies were told that Lori Anne Sedlacek Becicka, 47, was headed to an address near Oxford and had been drinking.  Deputies say Becicka's daughter, who was in the car with her, called it in to 9-1-1.

A deputy was sitting in a parking lot at 1486 Highway 6 near Oxford when Becicka pulled in.  The deputy says that when Becicka walked up to the patrol car, she smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, bloodshot and watery eyes and had poor balance.

The deputy says Becicka admitted to drinking and had over a .20 blood-alcohol level.

The daughter told the deputy that her mother was drinking while driving and the deputy found open containers in the car.

Becicka is charged with operating while intoxicated and child endangerment.
