Cyclones dominate UConn, 77-64; advance to play top-seed Kentucky



The Iowa State Cyclones may have been regarded as underdogs heading into their first round NCAA tournament game against defending National Champion UConn, but the Cyclones certainly didn't play like it. Iowa state led the entire game, on route to a 77-64 victory over the Huskies.
Chris Allen came off the bench and scored a game high 20 to lead the Cyclones to a 77-64 victory.
Four Cyclones scored in double figures with Royce White and Scott Christopherson putting up 15 in Melvin Ejim scoring 11.
The Cyclones will now face the top-ranked and top-seeded Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday in Louisville in the next round of the NCAA Tournament.
