Cyclone and Hawkeye Women go dancing

Posted:

As expected, both the Hawkeye and Cyclone women will go dancing this March and both teams will play close enough to draw good fan support.

The Iowa State Women received a very good draw. The Cyclones are seeded tenth and will have to play a Wisconsin-Green Bay team that is 30-1, but Iowa State will play the Phoenix at home at Hilton Coliseum on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

The Iowa Hawkeyes got a ninth seed and they will play California in South Bend, Indiana at 11:10 a.m. Sunday. If the Hawks win, they will probably have to face top seeded Notre Dame on the Fighting Irish's home floor.
